I Met Joel McHale

Yessssss!

And the best of it was this conversation:

J: What do you want me to write on your shirt? Chicks Man?
A: Nah.
J: So Meaty?
A: Eh...
J: It's Miley?
A: No.
J: how about 'F*** you Ana?'

I almost peed my pants. I've never had a famous person swear at me. Ugh, it's amazing.

Donuts?!?!

Today I got in my car to find a box of fresh donuts on my driver's seat. I was taken off guard and shouted "Donuts?!?"

I didn't realize my neighbor was right behind me, getting into his car. He stopped and just stared at me then asked "Have you never seen donuts before?"

I'm was a little bit embarassed, but I have donuts so that makes up for it.

Stressful

I just finished all my homework that is due by 11:59pm tonight. I realized, at 11:30, that I forgot to do 3 assignments...... oh my goodness. I did it. And they're decent too. :)

Prayer

Everyone is going to the hospital in my family. My great Grandma was admitted on Tuesday, because the hospital thought she might have either had a heart attack or is going to have one. She still hasn't had one, but she's very old, so if she does it would be very bad.

Now, my cousin was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night for a blood clot. She's been complaining and crying about it for a few days now, but the local hospital told her it was nothing. She felt this pain start in her ankle, move to her knee, and now it's at her thigh. Another hospital admitted her with a serious blood clot.

Please be praying for them.

In Pennsylvania

Hello. I haven't written a real blog for quite a while now, so I figured I'd jump back in with an update about my trip to Pennsylvania.

So far, I've been to Pittsburgh 3 times (which is about a 2 hour trips between Pitt and Johnstown, where my family lives and we were driving there and back in one day.....for 3.5 days straight.) That took up Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday, my 67 year old uncle finally married his high school sweetheart who reunited about 8 years ago. It was pretty cute. My Aunt Arlene (weird to say that now!) helped my uncle through some very difficult times such as when my uncle lost his left leg to diabetes about 4 years ago, and when his son discovered he had AIDS due to his constant drug use and gay lifestyle. And when my uncle's son tried to kill himself with blood thinners. I'm so happy that they can finally come together and get married. My uncle was stuck in an marriage that had technically ended about 15 years ago when his wife ditched him and their 3 sons to be with another man. She refused to get a divorce and blah blah blah, they finally divorced last July.

But Saturday night came and that was a completely different event than a cheerful wedding. My 17 year old cousin invited me to his house for a party with 20 or 30 random kids from his school. They were all guys, except for 2 girls who SHOWED UP drunk, and continued drinking by hiding their beer in their jackets, thinking no one noticed. Then they ended the night by asking guys how much they would pay to see the two girls make out. Then they smoked and went home. I went through 4 hours of rap music and people asking me if I want to smoke pot and snort some crack with them. Then the night did turn out good for me when I destroyed 6 guys at poker.

Aww, but now it's Sunday and I went to church, then saw my grandma, and now I just finished a delicious dinner prepared by my Aunt Liz.

Tithe

So, I hadn't been to my home church in a few weeks, and so when I went to noon service yesterday, I gave my tithe. Sarcasticly, I snickered 'I better see some more money in my paycheck.'

Holy cow. I got my paycheck today and there was $100 more than what our records originally said I'd be paid BEFORE TAXES!

I was:

1. Amazed
2. Pleased

The Hopes and Dreams of a 3 Year Old

Today, while spending time with my nephew, he let me know what he was looking forward to in the future. He was going to have muscles, along with attend a wedding soon. Then he let me know something... interesting, and I didn't know whether to encourage the dream or not.

Him: "Someday, I'm going to have my own wedding."
Me: "Yep."
Him: "And someday I'm going to drive a really, really, really big car."
Me: "Yep."
Him: "And someday I'm going to have a really, really, really big pee-pee."

How do you respond? Say 'yes' in an awkward and potentially creepy demeanor, or say no, and probably curse him for eternity? So I just laughed it off, and have yet to cease telling the world about it. He'll probably find this post someday when he's older, and be scarred for life........

Mckenzie Encounter with Jesus

Last night, at work, my friend McKenzie decided to tell Ryan, who was stopping by, that Jesus was coming back soon and that Barack Obama was the Anti-Christ. About 15 minutes late, she yells for my help from the back room. I run in to find her with a burrito in one hand, and the other hand in front of her face.

"Ana, you know how we talked about Jesus coming back and Obama being the Anti-Christ?"

"Yea..."

"Look at my finger!"

Drown on her finger was a tiny cross. She claims she has no idea where it came from and that it's a sign from Jesus.

So, about a half hour late, she was washing dishes and the cross washed off. I heard another shout from the back, where I quickly ran in to see what was wrong.

"Ana, I washed off Jesus' sign! Is that a sin?!? Maybe this means Satan was giving me a sign and now Jesus is washing off the lies!"

It was a good night.

Old Lemonade

Yuck! I just accidently took a drink from an old can of lemonade that was sitting on my desk....

Old lemonade tastes like Satan's throw up.

Interview Number Two

I made it through my second interview at Cutter's Point today!

They told me that out of 50 people they interviewed, I was one of 9 that were selected for a second interview. They'll let me know if I got the job by Saturday.

I'm pretty confident, seeing as I said I could work anytime during the day, and any day but Sunday and they told me every person that had been called back, so far, said they could only work evenings on the weekends.

We'll see what happens.

Climbing the Success Ladder

I got called back for a second interview at Cutter's Point!

I went, on Wednesday, to a group interview, and they said there were 50 people interviewing for 12 positions. Anyone that they thought stood out in the group, would get a call 'on Friday' (Today) for a second interview! This interview will talk about hours available, pay, and the such.

I'm getting closer.

You will now be able to send messages to non-believing friends and family after the rapture.

"You can send them an email after the rapture while they suffer 7 years of tribulations under the anti-Christ... which, as we know, is Rosie O'Donnald."

And now Fox News has a plan to convert all religions to Christianity.

"There should just be a fake rapture. Have all Christians just disappear for a few days. Think about it, if you're a Muslim and you see this rapture going on, wouldn't you convert right then and there?"

Ha, agreed.

Mr. Fountain asked this kid what he did over the weekend and he responded with:

"I rode a horse named Dude."

and this girl just shouts out:

"Wait, you rode a dude?!"

Mr. Fountain wasn't all too pleased.

Andy: "Heroine."

I Hate New Relationships

Grumble Grumble. Everyone is getting into relationships and starting to get 'crushes' on each other.

It's irritating.

If you're friend is a female, then they turn into a love sick obsessed puppy, and if you're friends with the guy, they either can't talk to you anymore because it will piss off their girlfriend, or they choose not to talk to you because they're too busy talking with their new love interest.

I'm losing my friends.

Does Family Matter?

Yes.

I've been contemplating whether beginning and/or ending a relationship can be caused by the family of your partner. For instance, if a member of the family seems to have something against you, or in an opposite case, you have a very strong and loving relationship with the family, if that would effect the vitality of the relationship.

The purpose for dating is to find a future spouse. But more than just a spouse comes with that commitment. You gain another family. 2+ more members enter your life, causing more drama, more love, and a greater adventure. It's not just a few people that you have to be able to talk to on occasion. For me, at least, family is -very- important.

Coming into my current relationship, I knew from the beginning that there would be trials with his family members. I was young, I was loud, and I was different. But, I figured my oh-so 'charming' personality would win them over for sure!

Until I met them and realized that I would need to work a bit harder for their affection. Some of his siblings took to me a bit faster than others (his youngest sister for instance) but even to this day, I find myself struggling for acceptance. For how can I have a 'family' doesn't love me, or one that I don't love?

Maybe it's because of my upbringing. I grew up in a family that was extremely close and loving. So, could that have blinded me to what 'real' families look like? Maybe families are supposed to have some members that just don't mesh. Maybe it's 'ordinary.'

I'm not an ordinary person.

So those are just my thoughts for right now.

New Hair

I had my hair done. No more red. And it's shorter and my bangs are different. Ha, and it lead to a conversation that made my day.

Michael: Ana, I like your hair. It looks really good.
Ana: Thanks.
Michael: I noticed it from across the room. That's how good it is.
Ana: Thanks.
Cameron: I noticed it from the first day I met you. So it's really good and I'm a better friend than Michael.
Ana: True.

Ha, fun day.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

Should I continue on with Mark or should leave quizzing behind me?

The latter seems more predominate as of late.

Ha, it's funny, the main reason that I used to want to quit has now actually become one of the more enjoyable aspects of quiz. Him and I had our differences and our stubborn opinions, but we've seemed to somewhat conquer those barriers and taken a higher road.

So why do I want to leave?

Simple. I just don't fit in. Trebonte continues to tell me "We like you." "You're one of us." But truth be told, no I'm not.

I still constantly feel out of place, mainly because of the situations and interactions I have with the people.

Like Thursday, I saw World Quiz as a more fun event, whereas some were taking the entire experience wwwaaayyy too seriously, and it ended with this:

Her: 'Rawr rawr rawr. I should have gotten that right. rawr rawr rawr.'
Me: 'You got it wrong. Just sit down.'
Her: 'No, I was right.'
Me: 'Appartently you were wrong.'
Her: 'I did better than you.'

Now, I don't care, because, as I said, it was just for fun, but her comment was uncalled for. It was just one of example of a lack of friendship that 2 years of quizzing has produced.

Another peeve, Regionals. I understand everyone will think I am being immature about it, seeing as the coach I talked to told me he didn't understand why I was upset, but I don't care, what happened was just rude.

When our team found out it would be able to attend Regionals, I was -the- first to show excitement to Evan about going. I pretty much convinced him, seeing as he told me he didn't think our team would win anything, so it wasn't worth going. But I convinced him we should go, because it would be a fun experience. I was -extremely- excited about going. I was truly looking forward to it. I told Evan I would be an official and do my part to help out. He said I could come too.

Ha, until other 'coaches' decided they wanted to tag along, after my initial excitement was announced. So what happened?

I get an email from the head coach telling me I was uninvited to Regionals. Yep.

"I appreciate your offer to go and help with Spokane/Regionals but I do have enough Officials and Anna's mom is attending as a female chaperon.....Sorry for the un-invitation to go."

Oh nice, at least he said sorry! Well, he shouldn't have picked 'coaches' who only want to go to 'hang out' over a quizzer who earned her way by practicing and placing at districts.

So another example of where I stand with all the TBQ peoples. I must be shorter than I thought, because I'm often overlooked.

Are those the only experiences that were negative for me? Ha, no.

Now, I know that to my fellow team mates, I'm spoiled, superficial, wasteful, and materialistic. They can't deny it, for they have said it to my face multiple times.

So, as a part of my spoiled, superficial, wasteful, and materialistic upbringing, a large importance was placed on birthdays, for it was a day to show one person how much you cared for them and how much you loved them. Presents were a big part, but bigger than that was just showing kindness towards that person and reminding them that they are special to you.

So, when I went to quiz a few days after my birthday, I expected maybe a card, or maybe just a hug or something. What did I get? I was constantly told I need to calmed down and focus, I was called a 'baby' by one of the coaches, followed by a falling out with that same coach. So my birthday with TBQ sucked.

Well, I figured 'Well, they just celebrate differently than my family does. It's just them.'

Until another group of girls had their sixteenth birthday party at regionals where they were greeted with a disco ball and a party with streamers and tasty treats, followed by many great memories that seem to love to talking about when I'm around. I'm not surprised though, seeing as who they are.

Ha, I know everyone is thinking. 'Wow, Ana is really childish and immature.'

I don't really care, and you telling me so isn't going to effect me in anyway. I am the way I am.

Thus the reason I don't mesh with TBQ.

Thus the end of my journey with them that only ended with bruises and tears. Oh well, I did have fun with some people. But the main person has also ended his year, so I don't have anything keeping me.

This is all dramatic teenage BS.

As Of Late

So, lately, things have been getting exciting.

Last week I took my COMPASS test with a 99 on reading and a 98 on Writing (Math we will -not- talk about) so I'm eligible for running start on that part, but I still have more work to do for it. I have to schedule a meeting with my counselor and get my credits all caught up.

Also, I picked up an application for Starbucks near my house. I'm really hoping for this opportunity and look forward to the experience and also the extra flow of cash.

And with that extra flow cash, what do will I spend it on? My own vehicle. Yes. I 'have' a car, but not really. I want a car that I will pay for myself, so it will be mine to use when -I- want to. Then, what car do I want? A 2003 Hyundai Tiburon. I've found one for sale now, but I can't afford it at all now. So, I'm hoping that by the new year I will be able to afford it. I'm excited and my mom gave her consent, and my sister thinks it's a good idea. Even Ryan is agreeing with it (But I think he just wants the chance to drive it himself!)

And a roadtrip is on the way. Yay!

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

This morning, while on our way to my school, my mom and I were talking about how she was supposed to give a co-worker a ride home from work (downtown Seattle) but forgot all about her until my mom arrived home to a phone call from the stranded co-worker.

So then my mom was saying how annoying people were being when she would tell them the story:

"People kept gasping. It's not like I killed a baby!"

I doubt people's reaction for forgetting a co-worker downtown would be equal to that of people who just heard you killed a baby. But it makes for a good story.

A New Laptop

The school finally agreed to give me a new computer, but only after my mother showed them who's boss.

For those who don't know, my school gave all 84 students in my class, new laptops as a pilot group. From the very beginning, mine was a piece of crap. It wouldn't connect to internet anywhere but the school, it froze up all the time, Word and Powerpoint would start, but it'd freeze right after. More importantly, Excel hardly ever worked, and that was what we used very often in my science class. Other than that, it would delete things randomly, it wouldn't allow me to add software to my computer, and sometimes it liked not to shut down.... ever. You had to wait 'til it died.

I would go to IT at our school, and they take my laptop and 'fix' it. I would get it back, sometimes an hour later, sometimes a few hours later. One time, they took it for a few days and I had to use a loaner. But it never was fixed. Sometimes it even got worse. I begged them to let me get a replacement, seeing as the majority of our homework and projects were using the computers, and I simply couldn't do them. They kept telling 'No, you were assigned this one. If you broke it, you have to deal with it.' I did not break that stupid thing.

Then, recently, I accidentally left my laptop charger in my science class in a rush to get to my social studies class for our important unit final. Mr. Fountain has a rule that if you're late, you don't take the test. But, I realized I had left it immediately, so I waited 'til the next break and went back to my science class. My charger was no where to be found. I asked my teacher if he saw it or if someone turned it in, he said no. So I waited until the students came back and asked if any of them were using it. According to them, no one had it.

So, some how, my charger magically disappeared.

So, I went to IT again to ask what the price of the charger would be. $80.

I don't think so.

So I asked if my insurance that I bought at the beginning of the year covered it.

'You have a $100 deductible.'

So, last Sunday, my mom and I made our way to Fry's after church. I asked the guy working there if they had any chargers that fit my laptop. He was like 'Oh sure, of course we do!'

They didn't. All of their's that were 'universal' were way too small. They did have a better price of $60 though. So my mom and I stopped by RadioShack by my house to see if we could find one. The guy told us right away that 'it'll be anywhere between 100 and 150 dollars.' Then he went on to try and convince us that we would find the best price with them, and that they're never any cheaper than that.

Now finally Monday came. I had english first, where we had projects due on 'Who Am I?' I had to use my house computer to do my project, seeing as my laptop never works.

I finished up on Sunday and emailed it in. I made sure that my video was published, and it even told me it was!

But, apparently my house computer is a liar. My project was turned in, but the video couldn't be opened.

Ms. Heins: 'Do you have it on your laptop to show me?'
Ana: 'No, I did it on my home computer.'
Ms. Heins: 'Did you put it on a disc or flash drive?'
Ana: 'No, I figured emailing it to you would be enough.
Ms. Heins: 'Then it's late.'
Ana: 'Can I just email it to you again once I get home? My brother is really good with computers, he would try and fix the problem.'
Ms. Heins: 'After school is late. Where does your brother work?'
Ana: '.....from home...."
Ms. Heins: 'Then he need to fix it now or it's late.'

So I called my mom to see if she could call my brother to go over to our house during his work day, fix my video, and then email it to my teacher or to myself. Well, my mom wasn't going for that. Ha. She just said to me 'I'm calling Ms. Heins.'

She did. My mom left Ms. Heins a message on her phone about how ridiculous it was that she wouldn't give me credit for a project that was turned in, but her computer couldn't view it. Also, she told her about how many times this has happened to me in the past and she was against these computers, because they're only harming my grades.

Then she called IT and told them to give me a new computer.... I'm not too sure what my mom said to them, but it made them give me a new one.... and a new charger!

But now Ms. Heins is angry with me, which doesn't really bother me, but she is my teacher, and I need to be on her good side.

Big Scare

Yesterday, my cousin and his wife had their first child together. I only found out about it today, so in my excitement i rushed onto MySpace to see if they had put any pictures up. To my disappointment, there were no pictures, but there was something a little alarming. My cousin, Brian, and his wife had mentions of 'Ry' on their pages with phrases such as 'You'll forever be missed.' or 'We'll never forget you.' Now, my cousin Brian has a brother, Ryan. (Yes, they're brothers named Brian and Ryan. My aunt Carla isn't too creative....) so my first thought was that Ryan died.

You maybe thinking 'How would you not hear about it?' Well, my parents told tell me anything. Whenever something goes wrong, my parents like to keep me in the dark. So, I figured maybe my mom just heard and wasn't telling me. but then I thought: 'Well, maybe Brian and Shyla (His wife) know someone else named Ryan."

So I went to my cousin Ryan's baby's mama's MySpace, to see if she had mentioned it. She did, but she didn't come right out and say it. She had initials up, which were R.T... Ryan's name is Ryan Teagan: RT.

So I called my mom up and asked her if she had heard anything and she said she hadn't. My mom then called up Brian who, after some confusion, assured my mom that our Ryan was safe, it was a different Ryan. I still haven't figured out what Ryan's ex was talking about, but oh well. My cousin isn't dead.

It turned out that Shyla's cousin, Ryan, who fixed my boyfriend's car when I drove it into a ditch, was driving and he accidently hit a elk. He died instantly. But, because he was driving, my mom is freaking out and I have now lost even more driving privledges. Exciting.

My Restrictions:
- Of the family cars, I am only allowed to drive the neon.
- The neon is only home by 7pm on weekdays.
- On Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, the neon leaves that 8ish.
- When I do have the car, I must be home by 8:30.
- I can only drive to Four Corners... about 1 mile away from my home...
- I must call home when I get to my destination and when I'm leaving it. then, if I go somewhere else, then I must call when I get there and when I leave.

I'm expecting more. :)

Official.

I went and got my license today. I was completely fine until my mother made the comment. "Now, don't cry if you don't pass. Because nobody passes their first time. You'll be too nervous to do anything right."

Then I went into a panic. Not pass?! No!! I had to pass. If I didn't, I would be completely embarrassed.

But I'm not embarrassed because I passed. And, I passed with a higher score than the guy gave me. I didn't correct his counting until I was back with my mother, though.

So, now I have a license. Yay!

I Love Brothers

While at my sister's house today, I stated "I'm jiggly..." And it lead to this:

Ana: "I'm jiggly"
James (My sister's husband!): "You're just like your sister!"
Tasha: "What?!"
James: "oh wait! You both -think- you're jiggly, but of course you're not! No. No. No. Not you two!"

Grumble Grumble

So, I just tried to start up my laptop so I could work on my essay, but I can't. My laptop is beyond dead.

The friday before break, I accidently left my charger in my science class while I was hurrying to get to my next class, seeing as we had a test and if you're late, then your score drops to 75% at best. so I was hurrying and I must have left it. but, I realized it when a girl asked to borrow it. I noticed I didn't have it and I rushed over to Weis' room, where I couldn't find it anywhere. I asked him if someone turned it into him, but he said no. So, I can ony assume that someone stole it.

Now, I figured I'd be okay because it still had 80% battery life left on it. But, I must have only put my laptop to sleep instead of completely shutting it down, because all it's battery drained. I am so sad.

Procrastination

Ugh, I've been so bad with procrastinating these past few weeks. I'm behind on my math work, which I had hoped to try and work on over Spring Break, but I just started today... plus, I had make work up to do for my science teacher and my english teacher, but I'm failure and just started that too.

Though, I can't really do my science work, since it's based off of lab work that the rest of the class did while I was in Hawaii, so I'm just going to talk to someone about it and figure it out that way. I'm pretty sure I have a test on all of it tomorrow.

Now onto fixing my essay.

The Other Boleyn Girl

I finished it last night. I've been falling more and more in love with the novel but now it's over. I was really dreading the end of it.

1. I know the ending as history tells it, so I knew it wouldn't be pleasant.
2. I didn't want the book to end!

But it did. And I will say, I was rather disappointed with the ending. It was very rushed and anti-climatic. But, it was still good, I just wish it would have been more dramatic, more heart wrenching, and more intense.

but the beginning and middle were pretty much awesome! So I'm going to see the movie in a few minutes. Ryan has graciously agreed to take me, although I know he would rather not. But, he made a deal with me that he wouldn't fall asleep or anything. I hate disrespect to something I love. He said he would do no more than blink. :)

I did promise him a few executions and quite bit of blood. But I also made sure to let him know that the executions and blood would be interrupted by love, sex, and tears. We'll see how he does.

I recommend the book, but I'm a female, so the experience might be different if a male picks it up.

Goodbye Facebook

Gone. Maybe later I'll return, but I don't care either way.

I'm tired of people and the crap that goes on everywhere I go. I don't like the people at school, I don't like the people I live by, and I don't like the people I church with. Everyone has a hidden agenda and none of them truly care about anyone but themselves. But, then again, neither does the rest of society.

I'm just sick of everyone.

How Should Women Smell?

While watching the Cosby Show, I've learned how women should truly smell.

When a couple (Saundra, and Elvin) are discussing who should pump the gas, Elvin gives his opinion on the smell of women.

Saundra: "Why couldn't I pump the gas?"
Elvin: "Because it's a man job."
Saundra: "There are no such things as a man's job"
Elvin: "Well, how would it look if a woman was pumping gas for a man?"
Saundra: "Then how come it's okay for me to get you a sandwich or get you a cup of coffee when you ask?"
Elvin: "Because pumping gas makes your hands dirty and smelly. And women shouldn't smell like gas, they should smell.....like sandwiches."

I think designer perfumes could make more money if they would just listen to the public.

Hawaii So Far

Tuesday, my parents, Ryan, and I landed in Honolulu, Hawaii. We only spent the day wandering aimlessly around the little bit of town we will call 'home' for the next few days. We didn't do anything exciting, but I did get to spend a little bit of time playing on the shore of Waikiki. But, it wasn't too sunny out at the time, and I wasn't actually getting into the water, so it was a -little- lame.

Then, around...9:30? Maybe? Rabenstrange and Trebonte decided to show up as well to spend the night with us before heading to their hostel.

So, Today, we took off about 12:30pm in search of a sandy beach to laze and splash around.... We spent about a total of 30 minutes actually chillin' at a beach.

My dad kind of surprised us by stopping off at Diamond Head, to hike .8 miles up to the top lookout. No body told me I would have to climb up steep steps, then go through a long, dark, terrifying tunnel, and not to mention it was starting to warm up. But, I am -very- glad I complete the trek for the view was worth it, and I did feel quite good after the ordeal.

Then we were off to find the beach! Well, more like, we drove around and looked at houses... and took pictures... of houses... Then made our way to Costco for water... and a pizza that took 30 minutes to make. We spent a good hour at Costco, picking up a case of bottle water. This lead to finding our beach around 5 o'clock, where the sun started to go down, and the boys became wimps and began to freeze. So, we came home to relax.

All in all, I had a good day.

My Brother's MySpace Heros

On MySpace, when my brother, Stefan, was asked who his heros were, here was his response:

'Myself of course and superman, if you think there's a difference that is. More seriously I'd have to say my Grandpa Peter H. Bury, he was a pastor that left a church denomination out of principle and despite not having the support of a denomination he ministered to the down trodden in his area as well as in Africa, through his radio ministry and bible redispuresment efforts, and worked till the day he died when he was in his eighty years.'

None of you knew my grandfather, and few of you know my brother. My brother is not known for this kind of thing, so I thought it was truly awesome when I read it.

Apparently, The Female Anatomy Shouldn't Be Spoken of in Fountain's Class

Fountain: "Teves, stop being emotional.
Alexis: "I'm sorry, but I have vagina."

I thought Mr. Fountain was going to have a heart attack. His mouth dropped open, he made some kind of gurggling noises, then went off on how horrible it was that our generation talks this way.

It made for a pretty good laugh, but I don't think Alexis and Mr. Fountain are best friends anymore. I'm mad with Fountain anyways, so not totally a big deal.

Edit: I forget to say that this one kid (Dave Reichert's nephew, actually) made the comment right after "Me too..." under his breath like he was shamed. I'm the only one who heard for he sits right next to me. I pretty much had a decent day.

Well, besides my science class but that's a completely different story.

Rawr!

I am going to destroy one of my science partners.

Just kill him.

I am Awesome.

I am the awesomest.

I filled out this quiz thing my cousin sent to me. One of those ones that tell you to write a response to the given scenario. Then, your response corresponds to something 'deeper.'

So, the question was referring to your dream house and it asked.

"What type of body of water is found in your backyard?"

My Response:

"A very large lake."

Well, it turns out that question refers to 'sexual desire.' Apparently, really enjoying lakes, means you also really enjoy sex. Nice.

Newton's Third Law Applies to Aaron and Myself

Not the best. Very rushed. -But- I had to come up with something to justify as an answer to my teacher's question.

Prompt: Describe a scenario in your personal life that Newton's 3rd law ("Forces travel in pairs and are equal and opposite.") brings insight. It could be centered around sports or driving or anything else. What if Newton's 3rd Law didn't work? Give an example of how something in your extracurricular life might be different?

My Response: Newton's Third Law applies to me in a very specific way: beating up one of my best friends, Aaron. Him and I have a very odd relationship. He is verbally abusive and I am physically abusive. With every comment he makes about me (i.e. "I hope you die before your wedding.") there is an equal beatdown. (I.e. Aaron was smashed into a window.) Although the outcomes are different, the level of intensity are the same. Or should I say, their 'force' is the same.

At the same time, if Newton's Third Law didn't work, then his constant verbal abuse would be responded with an innocent smile from myself. This would ultimately result in the constant trampling of my spirit from him. Also, it would lead to less bruises on his body, which I just can't have.

Mr. Fountain Makes Me Happy

"Daylight savings isn't supposed to effect me because I'm all powerful. But I have a wife."

Ha. Now I have to explain my reasoning for not having a finished project. Apparently, myself and about 20 others did not finish. I'm no longer a loner.

Fountain's Video Project

Is so lame.

Besides my typical computer problems that I've been dealing with from day 1, now I'm trying to do a video project on my piece of garbage laptop. I'm currently trying to convert files and transfer them over to my laptop from my desktop, which isn't going so well. Zamzar hasn't sent me my files yet which has me kind of irritated.

But I was talking to a few friends of mine, who are doing the same project, and they're telling me either it took multiple hours for their files to be sent to them, or they gave up on the project entirely. I don't exactly want to give up the entire project, but, I have WASL testing tomorrow morning and -really- do not want to stay up late trying to finish this thing.

We shall see how it goes.

This Time, It's For Real

Yea, I figured all of my pointless posts of surveys and the like were just that. Pointless. So, It's time for an update!

As far as my super awesome 'Ana is a woman' blog, I'm working on it, honestly. Mostly on paper. I want to do this right, and I want a plan in action for it. So I'm just getting some ideas for the first few posts so it's blank for the beginning. I'll announce when I get it up!

I'm really excited about it! It's no longer for school, so now it's truly something that I do for myself and by myself. Which, although makes me rather nervous, is something I really look forward to. I'm -hoping- to have it up before I take off for Hawaii, but we'll see how that goes.

Speaking of Hawaii, I'm not entirely looking forward to that adventure. I haven't done anything to really prepare for it, which has built up anxiety within me. I wanted to get a base tan before leaving, seeing as that really saved me during my last trip when it came to getting a sunburn. I honestly recommend it for people with skin such as mine. I burn ridiculously easily, but with getting small doses of the 'sun' beforehand, it helped my skin get to a point where minimal sun screen was needed. I'm also not excited, AT ALL for wearing a swim suit. I've been bad to my body as of late, but oh well, I'll never see those people again and I guess my parents, my boyfriend, and these two other losers going with me can deal. :)

Ah, but good news! I just took a break from writing this and went Nordstrom and bought 6 new shirts! Yay!

On a more serious level, have any of you heard of Oprah's new religion? This article gives a brief overview of what Oprah's new intentions are and a little bit about the book that inspire the New Age thinking. Basically, this book teaches that Jesus Christ was just a representation of all the gods we pray to. Not a real savior, just a symbol. And that true salvation can only come from one's self who is God and Christ. Seeing as Oprah's promoting the teachings, can you imagine the following? Ugh.

If Oprah alone wasn't bad enough, did you hear about Obama's comments on what his biggest mistake was? Barak Obama stated that his biggest mistake was not taking a stand in stopping Congress from helping Terri Schiavo. That's right, his biggest mistake was not trying to stop the saving of a life. For those who don't know, my two grandparent, that I did know, were starved to death by my aunt and uncle with no regard for what the rest of the family thought. With my grandfather, they convinced my grandma it was a good idea, but my grandma had Alzheimer's and didn't even understand the situation. The reason for the death of my grandmother? "We're grandparents ourselves now. We don't really have to keep her alive." This topic is not something that has been resolved. My grandpa died July 13, 2001 and my grandmother died March 1st, 2007. The only thing that actually helps me feel better is the fact that at least my grandma -knows- what is going on now.

Rawr rawr rawr. That was my rant, but anyway, Barak Obama basically supports the one thing that has cause such an uproar in my family. How am I supposed to live in a nation where the President doesn't care about my life or my family's? I just pray that whatever happens is by God's will. Because, if it isn't, then I'm afraid of the consequences.

And now I want food, so I'm off!

I am a Classic Lover

Your Score: The Classic Lover

50% partner focus, 47% aggressiveness, 25% adventurousness

Based on the results of this test, it is highly likely that:

You prefer your romance and love to be traditional rather than daring or out-of-the-ordinary, you would rather be pursued than do the pursuing and, when it comes to physical love, you concentrate more on enjoying the experience rather than worrying about your performance.

This places you in the Lover Style of: The Classic Lover.

The Classic Lover is a wonderful Lover Style, and is the closest it comes to the classic images of the princess in the tower, or the romantic and chivalrous knight, or the hero/heroine from a Disney film. The Classic Lover is a treasure to find, though it can be difficult to do so because they sometimes tend to be shy and/or difficult to successfully court.

In terms of physical love, the Classic Lover again can be shy, and often needs more in terms of emotional security to feel comfortable than some of the other Types. Given the right setting, and the right lover, the Classic Lover can be a delight in bed.

Best Compatibility can probably be found with: The Romantic Lover (most of all) or the Devoted Lover, or the Liberated Lover.

Congratulations!

I am the Sonnet

I took this Facebook before, but I took it again to see if I'd get the same thing. I did.

Any loverboys out there?

The Sonnet

Deliberate Gentle Love Dreamer (DGLD)

The Sonnet

Romantic, hopeful, and composed. You are the Sonnet. Get it? Composed?

Sonnets want Love and have high ideals about it. They're conscientious people, caring & careful. You yourself have deep convictions, and you devote a lot of thought to romance and what it should be. This will frighten away most potential mates, but that's okay, because you're very choosy with your affections anyway. You'd absolutely refuse to date someone dumber than you, for instance.

Lovers who share your idealized perspective, or who are at least willing to totally throw themselves into a relationship, will be very, very happy with you. And you with them. You're already selfless and compassionate, and with the right partner, there's no doubt you can be sensual, even adventurously so.

You probably have lots of female friends, and they have a special soft spot for you. Babies do, too, at the tippy-top of their baby skulls.

Your exact female opposite:

Genghis Khunt

Genghis Khunt

Random Brutal Sex Master

Always avoid: The 5-Night Stand (DBSM), The False Messiah (DBLM), The Hornivore (RBSM), The Last Man on Earth (RBSD)

Consider: The Loverboy (RGLM)

A New Blog

Okay, so for school we are supposed to be creating a blog that correlates with a topic that is very important to the writer. I've had a hard time trying to think of something that truly interested me. I could do a blog on tennis, but that would get old fast. I could do one on TBQ, but... that doesn't sound at all interesting. A friend of mine also suggested writing a blog on Zombies. Now, my interests doesn't go far past just trying to survive an attack, so the idea didn't quite blossom.

But, today I had a idea. I have noticed a pattern when I'm reading my Bible and spending time with God. I usually, if not always, gravitate towards verses and passages that teach about being a Woman of God. A Woman of Faith. Then, I pray that I can grow to better follow His plan for womanhood, and more importantly, encompass the true meaning of glorified femininity. God created me as a woman, so for me to ignore His examples of Godly women and try to figure my own life and identity would be selfish and unwise. Even though I joke very often about being a man, or displaying masculine characteristics, I love the fact that God created me to be a woman. It's an awesome responsibility that I feel blessed to have.

Even if being the woman God has predestined me to be is my primary goal, for the moment, it doesn't mean I have reached it. So, my idea for the blog, is following my journey to Christ destined femininity, my own experiences, what the Bible says about said subject, along with other research I'll conduct from different pastors, mentors, and everyday acquaintances on what they have to say about it. Eh, it might not be as cool as I have planned, but I do not care. I have a topic I'm generally interest in and that satisfies the requirements for the project.

Do I sound lame? Probably.

Adventure, Day One

Okay, I'm a little delayed in this posting, but everyone can get over it.

We took off at 12:30am Sunday morning for Sea-Tac Airport. Both Joshua and Aniella were asleep before take off, but with the chaos of having to set up Joshua's car seat, and Aniella being passed around, both kids woke up, and neither of them was very happy. But, once we took off they were completely fine.

My nephew, did however, decide that no one was allowed to sleep. The minute we would close our eyes, he was adamant about waking us up. "Wake Grandma..." "Don't go to sleep Mama." "Auntie Ana! No Sleep!!" And once we were up and alert, he consistently wanted to remind us that the plane had wings. Though, we were a little freaked out when he informed my mother, "Grandma.... the wing is gone." But, it was just dark and he couldn't see anything.

But anyway, we landed in Pittsburg around 11am EST. (8am PST) and made our way to Johnstown, PA. We arrive at my grandmother's by 2:30ish where I rushed to take a shower. But, I didn't think about the fact that my hair is still bleeding its color, so I ruined my grandma's white towel. But oh well.

We had dinner schedule with the entirely of the family (give or take a few relatives) at Eat n' Park, which is a variation of Denny's or Shari's. So, nothing special. But, I was placed next to cousin who, even though he states that he loves me, I can not stand with every fiber of my being. Every word that comes out of his mouth is garbage and is always about killing things, or bragging about tough he is. The majority of his stories are made up but neither he nor his parents will admit to it. But, I stomached the evening and made it to my Uncle John's and Aunt Liz's home. My Aunt Liz is amazing. Even though she isn't technically my aunt, seeing as she isn't married to my uncle, she is still more of an aunt than any of my others (Which ticks off one of them...)

But I very much enjoyed my evening with them. We just watched some TV together, but my aunt Liz is an angel, and my Uncle John is the most hilarious person and only has to breath to make you bust up in laughter. Plus, they have these two boxer dogs were are crazy and fun, so it was a dull night. Also, I had a really nice night of sleep which I very much appreciated.

All in all my Sunday was relaxing, for the most part, and good opening to my trip. Ha, but today, that was a completely different story for a different day.

Goodnight all. It's almost 1am, and I should really be watching TV. :)

Hmm... not very cool, so I'm going to find a different book. I'd chose Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but I'm afraid some people wont talk to me if I post anything from that book....

Nevermind, for all I see all around me are my brother's books on combat and survival, wars, machines, anatomy and medicine, and physical fitness...

Pennsylvania

I will leave my house at 9pm this evening for an adventure to see my family. I love Pennsylvania, but last I heard, it was 2 degrees there... err...

But I'm excited to see my brother, my grandma(s), cousins and aunts and uncles. I went back last September, but it wasn't much of a visit, seeing as everyone was working on emodeling my brother's house. But this time around I will be able to hang out and spend time with my family, whom I love. But, going to Pennsylvania will pose a problem.

I was talking to my TBQ head coach last night about having Col. chapter 4 memorized. He told me would be reviewing on Sunday. I agreed to grace them with my presence that day, but then realized I will be in PA that day. Then I realized the possibility of a quiz meet that following Saturday. If that is the case, I will not be able to go. I sent him an email, asking whether or not my fear was a reality, but he hasn't responded. But I remember Bellevue Neighborhood Church talking about a quiz meet in 2 weeks, which was last Saturday. So yea, I'm pretty bummed.

But anyways, I'm going to Pennsylvania, which will be a lot of fun (God willing.) I will try and post while I'm away, but that's not a promise.

See everyone in a week!

Violinists Love to Play an E-String

But audiences really love a G-string!

I have the song memorized.

I'm starting to love that movie more and more.

When I was just a little girl in Sweden,
My thoughtful mother gave me this advice.
If nature blesses you from top to bottom,
Show that top to bottom, don't think twice!

People say that being prim is proper,
but every showgirl knows that prim will stop her!

Don't be shy, be bold n' cute!
Show the boys your birthday suit!

But I'm also starting to really love That Face, as well.

The urge to merge can rob us of our senses,
the need to breed can make a man a drone,
We must be on alert with our defenses,
For every skirt will test testosterone.
Brad: "Some guys at my school think that having sex makes you a man."
Tim: "You should be a man first, then think about sex."

A Moment Of Silence

Lappy
2007 - 2008

According to our IT people at school, my lappy is officially dead. They'll be spending their weekend trying to revive it and I have a loaner from them until then. Ugh, the frustrating thing is that I didn't do anything to it, my laptop came to me on it's last leg. The tech people told me they were going to have to reformat everything and try and see if they can fix my issues. If they can't, then I keep the loaner. It was sad. I handed Mrs. Metzger my lappy and it was warm, then they handed me this hard, cold black box... okay, it wasn't that sad, but still...

I was pretty bummed, but at least I have a working computer for my Snake River trip with my tons of homework. Niiice.

Useless Google

I'm currently writing my position paper on Abortion for my English class. I have to include anecdotes, statistics, facts, etc. in my body to back any stance I have on the issue. Why does Google have to make life so hard?

I've been searching for about an hour and what the percentage of pregnancies were aborted during the first trimester, the percentage of deaths occuring (to the women) because of an abortion, and also, the developement of a fetus in each trimester. All three have been ridiculously difficult to find an answer for. At least, google makes it that way. It brings me random sites that have nothing to do with the topic... it's very aggrivating. So I've had to search page after page and look at a multitude of sites to find one that might have an answer for it. In addition to this, the majority of the sites I end up on always dance around the answer. Now, this is mainly for trying to find statistics, not so much for stories and facts. I hate this...

Just a Little Pick-Me-Up

Today was just one of those days.

This month's rotations has left me with Weis third. At first I was irritated because I had to wait all day for his class, but I'm so glad that turned out the way it did.

At the moment, we are studying Natural Selection, Evolution, and Dating (Rock dating....). So, at the end of the class, Mr. Weis left it open for discussion and questions. I've had some burning questions for a few weeks now and I finally had the opportunity to ask them.

But as one question lead to more questions, the entire discussion was more of a debate between Weis and myself. So I wasn't all too surprised with the fact that even though class was over, we'd still be talking. Now, I was planning on taking the bus home from school today, seeing as I had no other ride. Too bad that didn't happen.

We were still talking when I realized all the busses had left. It wasn't a big deal because I figured I could just call someone and get a ride. So, I decided to stay and keep our conversation going. Again, I am so thrilled that I prolonged my stay. We went from our dispute on Evolution, to how God plays a role. Now, the teachers that are involved with my Endeavor program have made clear to us countless times that they will never reveal their positions or their beliefs to us. Ms. Heins failed that a long time ago, but Weis and Fountain did a really good job at hiding their stances. But, all of my teachers know that I am a believe of Christ, and I'm not going to stray from that.

Apparently, Mr. Weis and I share a similar quality. Mr. Weis shared with me what he believed, how it played part in his life, and his own personal testimony. And he did so beautifully. I appreciated it so much and just soaked up the opportunity God gave me there. Just wonderful. What was even better was how much of an ecouragement Mr. Weis for me and how much of a counselor he was for me today. Man, God continues to amaze me.

Haha, something less awe inspiring, happened during my English class just before Weis'.

A girl made a comment on how Mr. Weis never calls on her. How even when she has her hand up, he will never pick her. Then the rest of the class joined in. "Yea, I always have something to say and he never chooses me!" "It's gets annoying really fast."

But then one kid spoke up "Yea, but he loves Ana. He'll call on her even if her hand isn't up. and when her hand does goes up, he gets excited."

And again, more kids joined. "Yea, he likes Ana's answers." "He likes the way she talks."

Then Ms. Heins gave an excuse "That is because is the Queen of Metaphors and Anecdotes!"

So, when class was over, a kid said "I don't want to go to Science. It's too hard." and Ms. Heins answers "Don't worry, Weis will call on Ana so you wont have to do anything."

And yes, Mr. Weis asked a question and even though 6 other kids had their hands raised, Mr. Weis called on me. The class started laughing and Weis was completely confused.

Good Day Indeed.

Abortion Methods

Currently, I am in my English class researching abortion methods for a paper I was writing.

Prompt: If there was one issue you wish the President would send more time and focus on, what would it be and what is your stance on it?

Thesis: Abortion, no matter what trimester the pregnancy is in, should be illegal in the United States.

Anyway, I found this site that gives the different types of Abortions, how they are performed, and what the negative side effects on the women who receive them are.
This site gave detail into the major methods, and it's disgusting to think people see this as acceptable and their right to do.

I really hate this modern day society...

Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural lead, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

This week.

I start my new schedule this week. Although I'm extremely excited about my circumstances and how God has set a path for me, I am going to miss my Blue Days. I loved my PE class. I'm going to miss getting to hang out with Shelby and Allie all second period. And I'll miss Myrna, Sue, and Brandi in the main office, but it's all for the best. I'm so overjoyed with what I will be getting to do for the rest of my high school experience and am very excited for what's going to happen. Just please keep me in your prayers.

P.S. I might be switching over to Wordpress soon. I have an account created with them, and have had one for quite a long time, but I haven't messed around with it too much to see if I appreciate it's features or not. We'll see!

Annnnnnd..... I'm back!

Awe, blogging, MySpace, Facebook... the lack of online communication has been painful. But, the semester is over, so it's back to my normal life. I will be downloading AIM shortly.

I really appreciate this break for the last two weeks. It forced me to find other things to do with my time besides being on MySpace and Facebook. Along with instant messaging and what not. I do have quite a bit I'd like to talk about, but I don't want to type them all out now. I'm currently enjoying my first pepsi in over 2 weeks. Mmmmmmmm.

Hmmm, maybe I should get to work on grooming my arm hairs... or, as Trebonte would like, go braid my nose hair... Either way, I wont be posting.

Microsoft Vista's Power Point Program...

Pretty much the more irritating software I have ever had to use.

About a week before Mid Winter Break, Mr. Fountain assigned two guys from my class, along with myself, to do a secret project for him. Seeing as we would be excused from all other assignments in his class, we were willing to take on the task.

By the end of that week, we were almost in tears. None of the software given to us that was supposed to help, worked. We left for break with a chip on our shoulder, and a monkey on our backs.

Now break has been over for almost a week. And now were have all come to an agreement: scrap the video, and go for an easy powerpoint.

I'm currently rethinking this. Power Point is just as horrible for me as the Digital Video Creator was. It freezes, closes out, and takes several minutes to show the text, so revising any mistakes is almost impossible to do in a timely manner. I hate it.

Errr.

Creation 2008

So, my mother has made it apparent to me that I need to start making a list of the people I would like to bring to Creation 2008. she wants to buy tickets soon, plus she wants to a book a hotel for the wimps (And for those who would like to use the pool...) So I need to start taking bribes . Extortion is a beast.

Last year's way of deciding the quests was a joke. I invited people I wish I hadn't, and almost didn't invite those who I really wish could have attended. We basically just sent out an open invitation: "If you want to go Creation, we have tickets for free!" but this year will be much different seeing as I will be hand selecting those who I want to come. It will be hard, seeing as there will be more people than space, so I'll just have to examine who I actually consider friends and who I see more as acquaintances.

But, I should be officially decided by the start of February, but I wont really confirm it with everyone until a later date. Hopefully I wont have to hurt anyone's feelings, but we'll see. I have good ideas about who I'm thinking of having join, but I'll have to get it written out and then narrowed down.

I'll have fun with that.

The Federal Reserve: Does Money Matter?

So my dad brought up the fact that my mom's father (who died in '70) did a documentary on the Federal Reserve, and that he had to watch it in school when he was getting a business degree. My dad never knew my grandpa made a film, but at the end credits, it showed "Produced by John C. Sutherland." The conversation went on for a good 30 to 40 minutes when my dad mentioned that he was never able to find the film after that day. He researched trying to find it in libraries, on the Internet, etc. ever since that day. Ha, so I searched in Google "Federal Reserve Documentary John Sutherland." Oh my goodness, after 10 pages of results, I finally found, on Berkley's website, a list of the videos they show in their Economics class, and "The Federal Reserve: Does Money Matter? A John C. Sutherland film." Sadly, though, it did not let you order the video. So I kept researching, and found another website that offer the video for sale. But when I went to order it, PBS (the site selling it) had retired that page. They did supply the number for them to still order it. So, again I continued to search the Internet for any type of info on it. As I looked at the web addresses, the majority of them happened to be universities. I'm wondering if the UW's library might have the tape. But, not one person in my family actually attends the school, so I guess I wont be finding out.
If I ever find myself in Japan, I will be stopping here...
To go along with that.

Hello Kitty takes over World of Warcraft.

The water is "filled with Hello Kitty love!"

Hello Kitty "Believers."

Bahaha. I in no way, shape, or form, have anything against Hello Kitty, at all. In fact, I like the cute little kitten. Well, in all actuallity, I really like Badtz-Maru... okay, I like them all... I'm a long ways away from my New Years Resolution.....
